Team Canada (comprised of Candele, Foster, Lamaze, and Millar) took first place, giving them 100 qualifying points. In Mexico, the Canadian team (made up of Chad, Jonathon Millar, Ian Millar and Sorensen) picked up their second consecutive win of the series on May 9 at the CSIO4* Coapexpan in the $80,000 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup for another 100 points. Team Canada will head into the final qualifier with a total of 200 points.
