Three or four men assaulted a man at Simpson’s Brae, causing him facial injuries.In the second assault at 1am on Christmas Eve, a man was assaulted opposite a pub on Main Street in Maghera, sustaining cuts and bruises to his face, neck and upper chest. One assailant was involved.Policer say two cars stopped while the incident was taking place and the two female drivers tried to stop the assault. They would like to hear from them, or any other witnesses.
